Valvoline - Multiple Stations in Springfield, MO
In Springfield, MO, we undertook an extensive painting project for Valvoline. We fully repainted three oil changing stations both exterior and interior. Using Sher-Cryl products from Sherwin Williams, we employed safety red for the stations’ traffic poles, the bottom color of duo-tone walls, and the station’s stairwells to comply with safety regulations. We also painted most of the walls a light desert brown, and the doors and trim a dark homestead brown.
Before we applied the Sher-Cryl to the interior walls, we meticulously scrubbed them down to remove the previous layer of grease and oil. This was a crucial step to ensure proper bonding of the paint to the walls for a lasting finish. Some areas that we needed to paint required the use of a scissor lift in place of our longest ladders.
Despite the challenging weather conditions, we persevered through below-freezing temperatures and scorching sunlight for several months to complete the car repair stations. Additionally, at the Battlefield Rd station, we addressed some extensive wood damage on the exterior’s awning side. Ultimately, we were proud of the transformations that we contributed to these various Valvoline stations.
